Ilocos DIY Itinerary 3D2N 2019

We plan this travel as seeing with other vlog with 3day 2nights only since we know that long weekend is coming this February 25. We prepare this travel January 2 after the christmas and new year vacation. Let me share to you guys how we explored Vigan, Pagudpud, and Laoag in 3 days for less than Php6,000 per person including pasalubong.

How To Get There:

Seriously, I really do not have to explain it further since I am pretty sure you have seen Vigan on a lot of travel shows, you have googled it, and just like me, you have dreamt of visiting it. But well, there would be a lot of ways to reach Ilocos — either via plane, public bus, or an 8-hour-private-ride.

In this Ilocos Trip, we brought our own car (Hatchback type) with my fiance which was an advantage , since we were able to cut off the usual 14-hour public bus ride to 10-11 hours only (Cavite to Vigan) We were also able to do some stopovers whenever and wherever we want to. We were able to go around and last but not the least, we were able to meet our budget hehe.

Toll Fee Rates
Cavite to Coastal = 24.00
NLEX Balintawak = 45.00
SCTEX Tarlac = 340.00
TPLEX Pozzorubio = 270.00
Total of 679.00 per way
1,358.00 back and fort

We have already easytrip RFID to avoid long lanes especially if long weekends awaits.
FYI Easytrip is for NLEX SCTEX CAVITEX ONLY. (400 Pesos only with 200 initial load)

Since we only have 3 days and 2 nights to explore Ilocos, we carefully chose our Must-Visit Places.

First stop: Vigan, Ilocos Sur

heading to Patapat Viaduct 15 mins away from Punta Azul

Patapat Viaduct
a viaduct at the municipality of Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte, a coastal resort town on the northernmost tip of Luzon Island in the Philippines. The bridge is elevated 31 meters over sea level .

After photo Op and videos in patapat viaduct we went to our next stop supposed to be the Sinking bell tower but sad to say it’s not good tourist sport because of the side vendors who covers it.

after searching for parking area, may nag alok samin ng Paoay Sand Dunes which is optional sa Itinerary namin since nag inquire ako before kami pumunta is 2500 per ride since dalawa lang naman kami medyo pricey sabi namin baka may makasabay kaso nag offer si kuya ng mababang price which is 1,300 pero solo lang naming couple yung 4X4 ride so nag G na kami.

Paoay Sand Dunes
It’s 15minutes drive from Paoay Church
